about

Sarah Hay is recent graduate of ECU’s Masters of Applied Arts program in the design stream. Her work scales between 2d (visual communication and information architecture) to 3d (products and buildings) to events (physical spaces which activate our abilities to be resourceful and creative) and back again. Academically, her research explores the relationship between our perception of time, the human experience of change, and the associated environmental and social impacts of current patterns of production and consumption. Professionally, Sarah divides her time between Ci: Conscientious Innovation as a creative strategist and freelance design work usully in the realm of green buildings and sustainable communities. Sarah is committed to an integrated design process that considers human experience, life cycle thinking, and social innovation.
