in brief

Sarah Hay is a Vancouver based artist / designer with a specific interest in environmental and social sustainability. A graduate of the Masters of Applied Arts in Design program at Emily Carr University, her thesis explored the slow movement as it relates to the design process. She constructed a seaworthy raft out of salvaged materials as a way to test and apply the theoretical aspects of slow design. Sarah Hay’s current practice includes creative strategy consulting and full-time-super-mom.
